We hunt so your home doesn't look like everyone else's
Vintage Modern Muse started with a simple frustration: everything in the big stores looked the same. So we started hunting — estate sales, thrift runs, forgotten cabinets — for vintage pieces that actually have character.
Every piece here was found, held and chosen by hand. Nothing is bought in bulk, and nothing gets listed unless we'd put it in our own home.
What we look for
Not old. Good.
Age alone doesn't make a piece worth owning. These are the four things a find has to earn before it gets listed.
- Form first — a silhouette that still looks good decades later
- Glaze, patina and wear that tell you the piece lived somewhere
- Honest condition — character is welcome, hidden damage isn't
- Pieces that mix, so a find works next to what you already own

Where do the pieces come from?
Estate sales, thrift shops and private collections, mostly around Florida. We source in person so we can check condition before buying.
Do you take requests?
Yes. Tell us what you're hunting for and we'll keep an eye out on our next run.
